OF RESERVES IN ENIRE FRIA DISTRICT. OPEN PIT, MULTIPLE BENCH MINING BEGUN IN EARLY 1960. THE DEPOSIT CONSITS OF GIBBSITIC EARTH AND CONTAINS HARD LUMPS & CRUSTS. ORE IS RAILED 4 KM S TO REFINERY AT FRIA GUINEA LEVIS THE FOLLOWING MONTHLY TAX ON BAUXITE PRODUCTION 50% OF REALIZED BAUXITE PRICE; 45% AL203 OR LESS; 55% ON AL2O3 CONTENT OF 46-50%; 65% ON AL203 CONTENT OF 51-55% AND 75% ON AL2O3 CONTENT OF 56% OR GREATER.
