Deposit GLENAPP/ HAY AND NORO ARE ALL PRODUCING SECTIONS OF AFRICAN CHROME MINES AS OF 1981. THIS ANALYSIS TREATS A SINGLE SECTION OF THE GREAT DYKE - THE "GLENAPP/HAY/NORO SECTION" - AS ONE MINING UNIT. IN REALITY, MORE THAN ONE COMPANY MAY HOLD LEASE AREAS IN THE SECTION DESCRIBED AND SIMULTANEOUS PRODUCTION FROM MORE THAN ONE COMPANY IN THE SECTION IS POSSIBLE. TO ANALYZE THE GREAT DYKE FOR AVAILABILITY, IT WAS NECESSARY TO ADDRESS THE SITUATION IN A LOGICAL, COMPARTMENTALIZED FORMAT. HENCE, THE "GLENAPP/HAY/NORO SECTION" REFERS TO A 7KM LONG SECTION COVERING BOTH LIMBS OF THE GREAT DYKE STRUCTURE; FROM THE ETHEL FAULT NORTH TO THE SOUTH LATITUDE 17 DEGREES, 0 MIN.
