Comments on the reserve resource information

  • Prospectors Alliance Corporation, Toronto, in joint venture with International Larder Minerals, Inc., completed a drilling program in 1996-1997 with 33 vertical holes focused on the main ore zone of the Alder Pond deposit. Drilling results from Prospectors Alliance reported reserves for the main zone of 508,000 tons averaging 2.2% Cu, 0.5% Pb, 9.0% Zn and 103 grams per ton Ag. No new drilling was reported in the south zone of the deposit, previously estimated by BHP minerals to host 907,000 tons of ore (USGS, 1999).
