Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = Gamble (1988) reports that a quartz boudin in chlorite schist from this locality contained 0.1 ppm Au. Bedrock exposures are limited in this area; this occurrence may be close to a regional contact between lower Paleozoic mafic metavolcanic and metasedimentary assemblages (Till and others, 1986).
  • Age = Unknown; not clear if this is a metamorphosed anomaly or if it is superimposed on the metamorphic rocks.
