  • Geologic Description = Gold has been reported in an alluvial placer along Costello Creek, from its confluence with the Bull River upstream for about 2 miles. Costello Creek drains a atchment basin containing porphyry, skarn, polymetallic, and epithermal veins, all with significant gold contents.
  • Age = Quaternary.
