Relative position This occurrence is on the ridge between Ahlfield and Christian Creeks, at an elevation of 1,150 feet. Ahlfield Creek is a southeast tributary to Sulphur Creek. Both Sulphur and Christian Creeks are east tributaries to upper Nome River. The occurrence is 0.8 miles east of the Nome-Taylor road. This is locality 53 of Hummel (1975).
