| Relative position | As described by Roehm (1945 [IR 195-37]) the location of this site is 'In Wrangell Narrows about 2 3/4 mile north of Point Alexander and 1 1/5 mile due north of Midway rock. Old cut a few feet up from high tide line.' This location is approximately in the vicinity of December Point but the information given is insufficient to determine whether the prospect is on the Woewodski Island side of the Mitkof Island side of Wrangell Narrows. The coordinates for the site are arbitrarily placed in the middle of Wrangell Narrows and the site is probably within a quarter mile of this location. |
