  • Geologic Description = Block of forty-seven lode claims staked in 1978 and active through at least 1981. Rocks in the vicinity consist of augite-bearing flows, volcanic breccia, tuff, graywacke, phyllite, and slate of the Jurassic-Cretaceous Stephens Passage Group and their hornfelsed equivalents across the Mosman fault (Brew, 1997 [OF 97-156-A]).
