Economic information

Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = A sample of gossan localized along a fault in marble contained 720 ppm Zn, 600 ppm As, 130 ppm Sb, 130 ppm Cu, and 100 ppm Mo (Gamble, 1988). Bedrock in this area is Paleozic marble and a pelitic schist assemblage of possible Cambrian or Precambrian age (Till and others, 1986).
  • Age = Cretacous or younger Appears to post-date regional mid-Cretaceous metamorphism.
