Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = Placer gold was detected during private and federal AMRAP investigations in a second order tributary of Bridge Creek (Brown, 1926; King and others, 1983). Bedrock is not exposed and gravel thicknesses are unknown. Anomalous copper, lead, and zinc values were found in samples from Lone Indian Mountain occurrence (MD011) to the east, which drains into Bridge Creek.
