Comments on the location information

  • Martin (1994, site report #23) states the deposit is in SE4 of Sec. 7, but gives coordinates for SW4 of sec. 17. These coordinates are midway between an iron and a phoshphate locality, all on the east flank of Fish Creek Mountain. A location in SE4 of Sec. 7 would be unlikely as that is mostly in Middle Piney Lake and would not have been described as a remote area as there is a campground and road access to the lake.
