Economic information

Comments on the ore body information

  • Strathmore Minerals Corp. owns the Ketchum Buttes Property (no detailed information about the exact location or extent of their property as of 2006). They report a near surface uranium deposit with a planned conventional open-pit uranium mine in sandstone and conglomerate of the Miocene Browns Park Formation. Purchased from Pathfinder Mines Corp (part of AREVA (Cogma)). Historic non-43-101 compliant demonstrated resource of 1,135,000 tons @ 0.064% U3O8 containing 1,454,900 lbs (not tons) of U3O8.
