Deposit ACTIVE FUMAROLE AREA ON SOUTH SIDE OF BREACHED CRATER CONTAINS MUCH SULFUR IN AREA OF 10 ACRES. SULFUR OCCURS AS VEINS AND VUG LININGS IN CLAY AND MASSIVE MAMMILARY AGGREGATES OF SULFUR CRYSTALS.
Deposit VOLCANO HAS BEEN ACTIVE WITHIN LAST 50 YEARS (AS OF 1959). REMOTE LOCATION AND BAD WEATHER HINDER POSSIBILITIES OF DEVELOPMENT. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
