Deposit GOLD DISCOVERED IN FINE GRAVEL AT MOUTH AT LEVEL OF HIGH SPRING WATER OF YUKON R. PLACER GOLD CONFINED TO LOW BENCH TO EAST SIDE OF STREAM NEAR MOUTH. ALLUVIUM 12-15 FT. THICK. A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF CASSITERITE REPORTED. GOLD IN SAND AND FINE GRAVEL JUST ABOVE BEDROCK AND ON BEDROCK.
Deposit THIS SITE NAME WAS CREATED BY THE REPORTER OR OTHER USGS EMPLOYEE BASED ON PROXIMITY TO SOME MAJOR GEOGRAPHIC FEATURE.
