Mining district

District name Noatak

Comments on the workings information

  • Workings / Exploration = Twenty-five claims were staked in the area in 1966. There was renewed activity in the area in the 1990's by local prospectors who have been mapping and sampling the area (Roy Barr, personal communication, 1997).
