Deposit STREAM PLACERS DERIVED FROM EROSION OF COLQUIRI TIN DEPOSIT AND TAILINGS FROM THE OLD COLQUIRI MILL WHICH CLOSED IN 1940. GRAVELS CONTAIN CLASTS OF CASSITERITE-BEARING VEIN MATERIAL AS WELL AS MINERAL CLASTS OF CASSITERITE, SIDERITE, SPHALERITE, ARSENOPYRITE, AND HEMATITE.
