  • THE ORE WAS HAULED THREE MILES BY WAGON AND PLACED ON BOARD CARS AT LOW WOSSIE FOR $.75 PER TON.

  • OPEN CUT 150 FT LONG AND 50 TO 60 FT WIDE. A 40 FOOT SHAFT NEAR THE NORTH END OF THE CUT HAS A 15 FOOT DRIFT DRIVEN NORTH FROM ITS FOOT. A 15 FOOT SHAFT ON THE EAST BANK OF THE CUT HAS ONE 30 FOOT DRIFT EXTENDING S35W FROM THE BOTTOM AND A 15 FOOT DRIFT EXTENDING N55W FROM THE SAME POINT. ANOTHER SHAFT EXISTS ABOUT 30 FEET SOUTH OF THE LAST. ALL ENCOUNTERED NW DIPPING SEAMS OF RED ORE WITH SEAMS OF WHITE, YELLOW, AND RED CLAY.
