Deposit DITCH OR PROSPECT DUG IN NE DIRECTION. O.F. EVANS HAD A REPORT FILED WITH THE OGS ON THE RANDLETT MINING CO. BRANSON, BURWELL, AND CHASE (1955, P. 15) MENTION THIS.
Deposit MERRITT, DOTT, HAM, AND EBEN RYAN (1940) GIVE LOCATION ON MATTHEWS FARM. A PIT WAS DUG ABOUT 1930, ACCORDING TO MRS. MATTHEWS. MALACHITE IN SS. WAS FOUND IN A SMALL GULLY, STRIKING NE, WHICH WAS PROBABLY THE PROSPECT.
