Deposit MARBLE IS INTERSTRATIFIED WITH SILICEOUS HORNFELS AND METASANDSTONE AND IN SOME PLACES CONTAINS CHERT NODULES AND ANDESITE DIKES. IN PLACES THE MARBLE CONTAINS WOLLASTONITE OR PYRITE. THE MARBLE BODY IS LESS THAN 2 KM LONG, AND AVERAGES 500 M WIDE AND 50 M THICK.
