  • GEOL.DESC: EXTENSIVE LAYER OF PUMICE ABOUT 18' THICK, EXPOSED IN SEVERAL PARTLY CAVED TUNNELS AND BULLDOZER CUTS; OVERLAIN BY LOOSELY CONSOLIDATED BISHOP TUFF 1-6' THICK. WHITE, ANGULAR PUMICE FRAGMENTS RANGE FROM DUST-SIZED PARTICLES TO AS MUCH AS 3" IN DIAMETER.
