  • BEHIND SM. CABIN AN ADIT EXPLORES A LS/DOLOMITE BRECCIA EXPOSED AT PORTAL. THE BRECCIA CONTAINS GREY CALCITE VEINED LS/DOLOMITE FRAGMENTS CEMENTED BY XTALLINE CALCITE. A DEEP PURPLE BRECCIA COMPOSED OF QTZ. FRAGS CEMENTED BY FINE-GRADED RED SILICA IS ALSO PRESENT ON THE DUMP & IN SM CUTS ON RIDGE CREST. JUST BELOW RIDGECREST ARE SEVERAL SM CUTS WHICH EXPOSE AN ALTERED & OXIDIZED, ZONE MARKED BY GOUGE & FEOX. THE LS. EXPOSED HERE IS SILICIFIED & CUT BY NUMEROUS SILIC. VEINLETS. A RESISTANT SPINE OF SILIC LS/DOLOMITE BRECCIA FORMS THE RIDGECREST. THE SPINE STRIKES N30-40E AND IS CUT BY A NUMBER OF VERTICAL FRACTURES. THE HOST ROCK FOR THIS DEPOSIT IS PROB. THE HANSEN CRK DOLOMITE
