Deposit CHARACTER OF DEPOSIT IS CRUSHED AND BRECCIATED SHEAR ZONES IN SLATES AND SCHISTS NEAR CONTACT OF SLATES AND META-ANDESITE. NO WELL-DEFINED VEINS, BUT PARALLEL STRINGERS OF QTZ. AND CALCITE OCCUR. DECOMPOSED AND ALTERED ROCKS ARE IRON-STAINED, GOLD OCCURS IN NARROW SEAMS AND POCKETS CONTAINING LIMONITE AND MANGANESE OXIDE. TWO PARALLEL ZONES 20 - 30 FT. APART.
