| Deposit | DEPOSIT IS IN CLAY RESIDUUM OVERLYING THE LOWER BEDS OF THE SHADY DOLOMITE, THE TOP OF THE ANTIETAM FORMATION IS SEVERAL HUNDRED FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE MINE. THE DEPOSIT IS IN A HOMOCLINE. ORE PROBABLY CONSISTED OF IRREGULAR FRAGMENTS OF LIMONITE SCATTERED THROUGHOUT THE CLAY RESIDUUM. |
