Deposit LOWER HERMOSA FM SANDSTONES AND SHALES STRIKE ABOUT N 60 W, 15 SW. TUNNEL FOLLOWS IRREGULAR LOW-GRADE ORE OF PYRITE, GALENA, AND SPHALERITE IN QUARTZ GANGUE. LODE OFTEN SPLITS INTO IRREGULAR DISCONTINUOUS STRINGERS. BLANKET (REPLACEMENT) ORE LIES NEAR BOTTOM OF 1.5-FT-THICK, CRUSHED, QUARTZ-VEINED, SHALE BED ON SANDSTONE.
