  • MINE DISCOVERED IN 1908 BY L C BECKWITH. IN 1940, ONE TON OF ORE AVERAGING 29.4% SB WAS MINED. WALLROCK IS GRANITE, STIBNITE OCCURS AS CRYSTALS, GRAINS, PODS IN QUARTZ VEIN WHICH FOLLOWS SHEAR ZONE ALONG DIKE WHICH CUTS GRANITE. SHEAR ZONE 12 TO 96 INCHES WIDE, VEIN UP TO 36 INCHES WIDE
