Deposit SCHEELITE- BEARING TACTITE BLOCK.
Deposit THE DEPOSIT IS DEVELOPED BY OPEN PITS AND SHALLOW SHAFTS ALONG AN ORE ZONE THAT STRIKES NORTH AND DIPS MODERATELY TO STEEPLY WEST. ALTHOUGH THE ORE SHOOTS THAT HAVE BEEN MINED WERE SMALL, THE GRADE WAS GOOD, AND THERE IS A GOOD POSSIBILITY THAT SIMILAR ORE SHOOTS ARE PRESENT ALONG THE CONTACT ZONE NORTH AND SOUTH OF THE MINE. THE MINE WAS FIRST LOCATED BY G.G. PEER OF AUSTIN IN 1943; THE FIRST ORE WAS SHIPPED N 1944. THE ORE IS RELATIVELY SOFT AND WAS MINED 20 FT FROM THE SURFACE. THIS RECORD IS AN UPDATED VERSION WHICH INCLUDES DUPLICATE INFORMATION FROM D011340 WHICH HAS BEEN DELETED.
