Comments on the commodity information

  • ACCORDING TO MAHER (1970) AN EVALUATION OF THE FALL BRANCH-GREENEVILLE DISTRICT IS DIFFICULT. SO FAR NONE OF THE DEPOSITS OPENED THERE HAVE BEEN BIG PRODUCERS. TO SOME EXTENT THIS MAY BE DUE TO A GENERALLY THIN SOIL COVER, AND POSSIBABLY BECAUSE THE MINERALIZATION IS LOCALIZED RATHER THAN DISPERSED. SOME EVIDENCE FAVORS CONTROL BY MINOR FAULTS.
