Deposit "The brine creek issues from the red shales of the Spearfish formation and has a flow of one gallon per second, or 35,000 lbs. of salt every 24 hours. Analysis: NaCl=5%, K2O=0.20%, MgO=0.04%, Na2O=2.73%, SO3=0.36%, Cl=0.15%."
