Deposit YORK MINE IS A PAST PRODUCER. THIS ANALYSIS TREATS A SINGLE SECTION CALLED THE "YORK SECTION" AS ONE MINING UNIT. IN REALITY MORE THAN ONE COMPANY MAY HOLD LEASES OVER THE SECTION DESCRIBED AND IT IS POSSIBLE TO HAVE SIMULTANEOUS PRODUCTION BY MORE THAN ONE COMPANY FROM THE SECTION. TO A ANALYIZE THE GREAT DYKE FOR AVAILABILITY IT WAS NECESSARY TO ADDRESS THE SITUATION IN A LOGICAL, COMPARTMENTALIZED FORMAT . HENCE, THE "YORK SECTION" REFERS TO A 4 KM SECTION COVERING THE EAST LIMB OF THE GREAT DYKE STRUCTURE FROM SEBAKWE DAM TO SOUTH LATITUDE 19 DEG. 00 MIN.
