Deposit	THE ZHONGANGO DEPOSIT IS LOCATED 525KM SOUTHWEST OF CHENGDU AND IS ACCESSIBLE BY THE CHENGDU-W. KUNMING RAILWAY. THE DEPOSIT IS A VANADIUM-BEARING TITANOMAGNETITE WHICH IS HOSTED IN THE LAYERED GABBRO INTRUSION. THE V-TI-MAGNETITE ORE BODIES WITH TOTAL THICKNESS OF 100-120M ARE INTER-LAYERED IN THE LOWER PARTS OF THE GABBRO MASSIVE. THE ORE BODIES STRETCH 2KM FROM EAST TO WEST AND DIP TO THE NORTH WITH AN ANGLE OF 40- 50 DEGREES. MORE THAN TEN OTHER ECONOMIC MINERALS INCLUDING CU, CO,SC, S, P, ETC. ARE PRESENT IN THE ORE OF THE DEPOSIT. THE INDUS- TRIAL MINERALS ARE TITANOMAGNETITE, ILMENITE, AND SULFIDES. THE TITANOMAGNETITE ORE IS EASY TO BE DRESSED. THE DEPOSIT CAN BE MINED BY OPEN PIT. NO MINING PLAN IS TO BE MADE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
