RECORD 050/ THE DEPOSIT WAS EXAMINED AND SAMPLED BY PIERCE I MANGANESE ORE CONSISTS OF COBALT-BEARING LITHIOPHORITE AND/O HOLLANDITE. COBALT IS BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN DEPOSITED BY GRO WATER. COBALT CONTENT FROM COMPOSITE SAMPLE OF MN OXIDE FROM DUMPS WAS 0.88 %. MN-CO ORE FILLS FRACTURES AND REPLACES CHE FLOAT ORE EXTENDS 250 FT WEST OF PROSPECT PITS. NOT ENOUGHDA DETERMINE MIN.
