Fireguard
This app may access your device location for the purpose of providing in-app map-related functionality. Qvyshift does not collect, store, or sell your device location data. If you turn on fire alerts, the center point of each area you choose to be alerted about is sent to Qvyshift's alert server, as described under Fire Alerts below. If you have granted the app location permission, Google's advertising service may receive your approximate (coarse) location, as described under Advertising below.
This app may use an advertising service provided by Google. As part of its advertising service, Google may collect various information in order to improve its performance. This information may include your IP address and non-user related crash logs. This information may also include performance data such as launch time, hang rate, or energy usage, your device ID such as the device's advertising identifier, advertising data, and other user product interactions.
If you have granted this app permission to access your device location, the Google advertising software built into this app may also collect your approximate (coarse) location to improve the geographic relevance of the ads you see. Only coarse location is collected, even if you have granted the app precise location permission. You can prevent this by declining or revoking the app's location permission in your device settings.
You may opt out of advertising and its associated information sharing by upgrading the app through a one-time in-app purchase available in the Settings menu.
How Google Uses Information From Sites or Apps That Use Google Services
Fire alerts are optional and stay off until you turn them on for one of your monitored areas. When they are on, the app sends Qvyshift's alert server, for each area with alerts on: the center point of the area, the alert distance you chose, the name you gave the area, and a random identifier for the area. The outline of the area and your device's own location are not sent.
Along with the areas, the app sends a push notification token for your device, a random installation identifier, an anonymous account identifier created by Firebase Authentication, your device's language, time zone and model name, and integrity information from Firebase App Check (Google Play Integrity), which confirms that requests come from a genuine copy of the app. No name, e-mail address or other contact details are collected.
This information is used only to decide when to send you an alert and to deliver it through Firebase Cloud Messaging. It is stored on Google Cloud servers operated for Qvyshift, is not sold, and is not used for advertising.
Turning alerts off for all of your areas deletes this information from the server immediately. If the app has not been opened for 1,000 days, the information is deleted automatically. A record of each alert sent (the fire's location, the time, and which registration it went to, without the area's name) is kept for 30 days to prevent duplicate alerts.
Apart from the fire alert information described above, which you can delete at any time by turning alerts off, Qvyshift does not retain any personal or sensitive user information.
