PDB Viewer does not collect, store, or share any personal information. There is no account, no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.
None. The app does not ask for or gather any personal or sensitive user data.
When you choose to view a structure, the app downloads that structure's file over a secure (HTTPS) connection from the public scientific database you selected, such as:
These requests contain only the identifier or search term you entered, never any personal information. Like any internet request, the receiving database may log standard technical details (such as your IP address) under its own privacy policy; PDB Viewer has no control over and no access to those logs.
Recently viewed structures and any files you open are cached on your device only, so they reopen quickly and work offline. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you delete the app.
PDB Viewer is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
