| Deposit | VEINS ARE COMMONLY ONLY A FEW INCHES THICK AND CONSIST MAINLY OF QUARTZ WITH LESSER AMOUNTS OF FLUORITE, MUSCOVITE, TOURMALINE, COLORLESS BERYL AND PYRITE. THE SCHEELITE-BERYL DEPOSIT IS IN LIMESTONE NEAR THE CONTACT WITH RHYOLITE. THE BERYL CRYSTALS ARE A FRACTION OF AN INCH TO 2 INCHES LONG. MINERALIZATION IS VERY SIMILAR TO THAT OF OREANA MINE (BONHAM). JOHNSON AND BENSON REPORT, " SCHEELITE-BEARING TACTITE IN WEST FACE OF PIT APPEARS AS AN INVERTED TRIANGLE, WHICH ON SURFACE WAS 10 FEET WIDE." |
