| Deposit | EASTERN STAR MINE IS ON PERSHING RIDGELONG WITH PERSHING, MONTGOMERY AND LORI MINES. THE RELATIVELY HIGH PERMEABILITY AND THE INTENSE FRACTURING OF THE CONGLOMERATE ARE PROBABLE FACTORS INFLUENCING THE MERCURY MINERALIZATION, DISCOVERED IN 1912. PRINCIPAL PERIODS OF ACTIVITY 1928-30 AND 1941-43. OCCURS IN THE SAME GEOLOGIC FORMATIONS AS THE ADJOINING LORI MONTGOMERY MINES.
