Deposit DEPTH TO TOP REFERS TO MAIN MAGNETITE SEAM FROM OUTCROP TO DEPTH OF CURRENT OPEN PIT DOWN-DIP. THE MAIN MAGNETITE SEAM HAS, HOWEVER, BEEN TRACED BY DRILLING TO A VERTICAL DEPTH OF 645 METERS. MAGNETITE QUALITIES PERSIST UNIFORMLY TO THIS MAXIMUM DEPTH, BUT VANADIUM CONTENTS DECLINE FROM OVER 1.0 PERCENT IN NEAR SURFACE OCCURRENCES TO 0.2 PERCENT AT THE GREATER DEPTH.
