Deposit THICKNESS RANGES FROM 0.1 TO 1.5 M FOR VEINS THAT ARE MINED. ORE BODY 1: VEINS ARE IN OBLIQUE, STEEPLY DIPPING FRACTURE SYSTEMS, NEAR SURFACE ARE MINEABLE FOR MOST IF THEIR LENGTH AT DEPTH BOTTOM IS DOWNWARD PROTUBERANCES IN ORE SHOOTS. ORE MINERALS MOSTLY IN OPEN-SPACE FILLINGS. ORE BODY 9: MANTO IS ZONED HORIZONTALLY WITH PYRITE CORE, CHALCOPYRITE CLOSEST TO CORE, AND SPHALERITE AND GALENA AT MARGINS. ORE BODY 12: RICH ENARGITE-TETRAHEDRITE MATERIAL MINED TO 750 LEVEL.
Deposit NEAR BY IS ADISSEMINATED PORPHYRY DEPOSIT (594 MILLION METRIC TONS OF 0.68% CU WITH CUTOFF OF 0.5% CU) CALLED TOROMACHO. POSSIBLY STUDIES CONDUCTED BUT DEVELOPMENT SUSPENDED IN MID 1980'S. SEE RECORD NUMBER JUN0063.
