BY 270000 TPY, INVESTMENT OF 732 76-RCD 601-604-GRADES IN COL. 3 ARE ACTUAL 1974 MINED ORE GR 1973-PRODUCTION IN 1972 WAS 35,000 TONS OF CU, 2,000 TONS OF 9,600 TONS OF ZINC AND 290 TONS OF TUNGSTEN.
Deposit AN ATTACK BY THE SHINING PATH INSURGENT GROUP, IN 1989, DISTROYED MOST OF THE SURFACE FACILITIES. 1990 ORE PRODUCTION WAS REDUCED TO 63% OF RATED CAPACITY (1450MTPD). *ON NOV. 12, 1991, 50% OF CENTROMINS WORKFORCE WENT ON STRIKE. (DEC. 1991)
