| Deposit | THE MAGNETITE ASSOCIATED WITH METAMORPHOSED LIMESTONE OCCURS NEAR THE TOP OF A NORTHWEST-SOUTHEAST RIDGE. NUMEROUS OUTCROPS OF NEARLY PURE CRYSTALLINE LIGHT GRAY AND WHITE LIMESTONE APPEAR ON THE SOUTHWEST FLANK OF THIS RIDGE. THE STRIKE OF THE FORMATIONS IS N 54 W AND THE DIP 32 NE. IT IS ESTIMATED THAT THE LIMESTONE IS AT LEAST 250 FT. THICK. |
