| Deposit | THE PARAMOUNT MINE PROPERTY (CLAIM GROUP) LIES IN THE FOOTHILL BELT OF LIMESTONE ON THE LOWER WESTERN FLANK OF THE SPRUCE MOUNTAIN. THE OLD PARAMOUNT SHAFT ON THE PARAMOUNT NO. 7 CLAIM IS 200 FT DEEP; IT HAS PRODUCED CONSIDERABLE ORE THAT RAN 40% LEAD, 15 OZ SILVER, AND $5. IN GOLD PER TON, WITH A LITTLE COPPER. THE ORE OCCURS AT AN INTERSECTION OF 2 VEINS THAT DIP 60 N AND 80 NW. THE PARAMOUNT MINE (18 CLAIMS). ORE BODIES OCCUR IN FISSURE AND BEDDED DEPOSITS IN LIMESTONE AND AT A LIMESTONE PORPHYRY CONTACT.
