Deposit INTERSECTION OF 2 FAULT-VEINS, ALSO NEAR LIMESTONE/PORPHYRY CONTACT.
Deposit THE PARAMOUNT MINE PROPERTY (CLAIM GROUP) LIES IN THE FOOTHILL BELT OF LIMESTONE ON THE LOWER WESTERN FLANK OF THE SPRUCE MOUNTAIN. THE OLD PARAMOUNT SHAFT ON THE PARAMOUNT NO. 7 CLAIM IS 200 FT DEEP; IT HAS PRODUCED CONSIDERABLE ORE THAT RAN 40% LEAD, 15 OZ SILVER, AND $5. IN GOLD PER TON, WITH A LITTLE COPPER. THE ORE OCCURS AT AN INTERSECTION OF 2 VEINS THAT DIP 60 N AND 80 NW. THE PARAMOUNT MINE (18 CLAIMS). ORE BODIES OCCUR IN FISSURE AND BEDDED DEPOSITS IN LIMESTONE AND AT A LIMESTONE PORPHYRY CONTACT.
