Comments on the geologic information

  • SCHISTOSE ZONES IN MAFIC TUFF AND OR FLOWS, SOME METADIABSE DIKES. WIDEuZONE CONTAINS RANDOMLY ORIENTED, STOCKWORK VEINLETS AND A FEW PERSISTANT QUARTZ VEINS.uTHE COINCIDENCE OF THE MINERALIZED ZONE WITH NE-TRENDING FOLD AXES HERE ANDuAT THE CROWELL, COTTON PATCH, AND MOUNTAIN CREEK MINES SUGGEST THAT THESEuBROAD FOLDS CONTROLLED EMPLACEMENT ALONG TENSIONAL STRUCTURES.uMOST GOLD WAS RECOVERED FROM WASHING SAPROLITE LAYER. GOLD WAS CONCENTRATEDuIN A "GRIT" LAYER IN THE LOWER PART OF THE 2-3 M THICK SAPROLITE.
  • COUNTRY ROCK IS SAUSSERITIZED, HIGHLY ALTERED GABBRO. VEINS ARE MILKYuQUARTZ AND CALCITE. GABBRO IS INTRUSIVE METAGABBRO THAT COMMONLY INTRUDESuTHE ALBEMARLE GROUP.
