GOLD WAS CONCENTRATEDuIN A "GRIT" LAYER IN THE LOWER PART OF THE 2-3 M THICK SAPROLITE.
  • COUNTRY ROCK IS SAUSSERITIZED, HIGHLY ALTERED GABBRO. VEINS ARE MILKYuQUARTZ AND CALCITE. GABBRO IS INTRUSIVE METAGABBRO THAT COMMONLY INTRUDESuTHE ALBEMARLE GROUP.

THE CUB SHAFT 24 M AND AN UNAMED SHAFT 40 M. IN 1935, 76 M TUNNEL AND 29 M SHAFT WERE DRIVEN TO EXPLORE QUARTZ VEIN.
