Deposit THE MINE WAS OPENED BY AN INCLINE 132 FEET LONG, WITH SEVERA DRIFTS LEADING FROM IT, THE LONGEST BEING 179 FEET. THICKNES THE ORE BED WAS VARIABLE, BUT WAS ABOUT 2-2.5 FT AT THE LOWER LEVEL. OVER 2500 TONS OF ORE (MAGNETITE) WERE MINED. THE ORE WAS REPORTEDLY 46-46.9 % IRON.
