| Deposit | THE MINE WAS OPENED BY AN INCLINE 132 FEET LONG, WITH SEVERA DRIFTS LEADING FROM IT, THE LONGEST BEING 179 FEET. THICKNES THE ORE BED WAS VARIABLE, BUT WAS ABOUT 2-2.5 FT AT THE LOWER LEVEL. OVER 2500 TONS OF ORE (MAGNETITE) WERE MINED. THE ORE WAS REPORTEDLY 46-46.9 % IRON. |
