EXHAUST GASES CONTAIN 0.3% SO2 FROM THE SINGLE CONTACT ACID PLANT AND 0.05% SO2 FROM THE DOUBLE CONTACT ACID PLANT. ACID PLANT GASES ARE DISCHARGED THROUGH A 120 M CHIMNEY. ALL OTHER GASES ARE DISCHARGED THROUGH A 325 M CHIMNEY AFTER BEING CLEANED BY LURGI ELECTRO-FILTERS. |
