| Deposit | U.S. COMMERCE DEPT. PRELIMINARILY DETERMINED TO KEEP THE ANTI- DUMPING DEPOSITS ON TITANIUM SPONGE FROM KAZAKHSTAN UNCHANGED AT 83.96% IN FEB. 1994. THE PLANT IS HYDROELECTRIC. A SLAG SMELTING FACILITY WAS BEING CONSTRUCTED IN 1994, SO THAT THE FACILITY COULD UPGRADE ILMENITE TO A TITANIUM SLAG. CHORI CO., A JAPANESE TRADING FIRM, IS PROVIDING LOANS OF $3.2 MILLION TO TITANIUM MAGNESIUM KOMBINATE (TMK). THE MONEY WILL BE USED TO INSTALL A SLAG SMELTING FACILITY. |
