Relative position The approximate location of this prospect, known in 1981 (Elliott and Koch, 1981, p. 7, loc. 6) only from a U.S. Bureau of Mines claims map (U.S. Bureau of Mines, 1979), is in Section 24, at an elevation of about 1800 feet. It is on a hillside northeast of a southeast-flowing branch of upper White River. This location probably is accurate within about a half-mile.
