Deposit WELL DEFINED FISSURE IS FILLED WITH CRUSHED SLATE AND STRINGERS OF QUARTZ. ONE QUARTZ BODY IS 100 FEET LONG AND 3 FEET WIDE; OTHER PARTS OF FISSURE HAVE LESS OR ALMOST NO QUARTZ. HANGING WALL OF FISSURE HAS HORIZONTAL SLICKENSIDES AND AN INCH OF GOUGE
