| Relative position | The Feather Bed occurrences are located on the Resurrection Peninsula about 11 miles south of Seward, Alaska. The occurrence consists of two locations, one along the shore of Humpy Cove (formerly called Sunny Bay by Martin and others, 1915) and the main showing is about a mile and a half east of the shore in the SW1/4 of section 22, T. 2 S., R. 1 W., of the Seward Meridian. This is location 2-3 of Cobb (1980, OFR 80-621) and location 106a-106b of Tysdal (1978). The location is accurate to within a quarter of a mile. |
